Our BBQ yesterday was awesome, except for a huge scare when Major got attacked by our dog guest (ugh, awful)...truly perfect weather, fun people and great food/drink -- reeniecooks posted about it here, with links to many of the recipes. I should add that we drank some good stuff too -- homemade sangria, some Cameron Hughes Lot 5 zinfandel, an unlabeled Pinot Noir from the Santa Cruz mountains, and a nice Gary Farrell pinot from the Russian River Valley. We also tried some digestives from the liquor cabinet -- 7 year old Cuban rum, some Centenario and Revolution anejo (or reposado?) tequila and Glenfiddich scotch. Until the next one...
